On Friday ( 28th October, 2011) I'm off on another epic budget weekend to the trendy city of Rotterdam with the cheap coach travel specialist: Eurolines.

I have to be honest- I prefer low cost airline and trains over buses. It's been awhile since I hopped around Europe on a bus ( I guess when flying was more expensive) so this is going to be an experience.
With fares of just £39 return it's definitely budget friendly. Whether its comfortable and fun-we'll see!
I've flicked through the brochure - seen pictures of Rotterdam's superb architecture, it has a great year round line up of festivals and events ( Voted Event and Festival City of the year 3 years in a row) plus a great arts scene and clutch of world-class museusm- Rotterdam seems to have all the right ingredients of a fun, short break destination.
Especially when you consider its superb nightlife which will be the focus of my trip.
I am keen to check out De Witte Aap which was recently voted by the Lonely Planet as the 'Best Bar in the World' !
I'll be also doing some beer tasting at Rotterdam's only brewery -De Pelgrim in Delfshaven.
